Light brunch on a lazy day.
Well, I supposed to go this morning, but then it was last minute canceled. That’s fine and I can spend a little bit longer laying around on my lovely bed and skip my breakfast. :p Instead, I just went over to a cafe nearby my place for my brunch. “Taste” is the cafe name, its located at Sussex Lane and I guess their other shop is at Myer George Street. They have various menu to choose, from baguette, steak, pie to cakes. The picture taken was chicken snitzel baguette filled with mixed salad, not forgetting also I ordered a latte to go with. I will try come back again someday to try the rest of their menu. :D

Steamed Chicken with Tofu

simple dish for dinner is always preferable… well try this one, a steamed chicken breast with tofu.

what you need are;

  • fillet chicken breast
  • white tofu
  • red chilly
  • chopped garlic
  • a little bit of chopped ginger
  • salt and ground pepper to taste

(since i don’t have a steamer, i used pot and bowl to steamed it)
seasons the chicken and tofu with garlic, ginger, salt and pepper. Put everything on the bowl, seasoned with chilly and add water. Put the bowl on the pot filled with water and steam about 15 - 20 mins…

:D

Breakfast Idea??

Many people ask about the dish on my profile picture,

Actually i did this long time ago before i started this blog, if you looking for simple breakfast food idea, maybe you can make like the one on my profile picture,

what you need are only toast bread, scrambled egg, spinach, ham and asparagus.

.

to make this, stir fry the asparagus until tender and spinach for a while. Heat the ham in the pan to give some color, placed the toast bread on the plate, topped with spinach egg, ham and lastly with asparagus.

that simple right, everyone can do this. :p

don’t forget to season with salt and pepper to taste or maybe mayonnaise..

cheers :D
